Raimund Thiel

Raimund Thiel has extensive experience in engineering and technology, particularly in the fields of SmartGrids and renewables. Since January 1998, Raimund has held various senior expert engineering roles at SMA Solar Technology AG, focusing on communication technologies, disruptive business cases, and system architectures. Prior to this, Raimund co-founded adequate systems GmbH from 1994 to 1997 and served as Head of Software Engineering at DMC GmbH from 1992 to 1994, where responsibilities included the development of the Calamus DTP system. Educational qualifications include studies at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and Technische Universität Darmstadt, culminating in an Abitur from KHS Fritzlar.
