Darion Powell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Darion began their career in 2006 as a National Account Manager and Supervisor at GPD, where they supervised and managed national accounts. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Regional Recruiter at Aquilex LLC. In 2009, they joined Efinancial as a Senior Sales Executive, where they sold advanced SaaS platforms, carrier contracts, and insurance web leads.
In 2011, Darion became a Sales Center Manager at ARYZTA LLC, where they managed the day-to-day operations of a distribution center and achieved annual sales exceeding $3 million. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as an Account Executive at Sterling, selling TalentWise's SaaS platform solution for new-hire screening and onboarding.
From 2014 to 2017, Darion held the role of Account Manager at Vertafore, a leading provider of software and services to the insurance distribution channel. In this role, they delivered meaningful solutions and helped organizations respond to business challenges. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an Account Manager at DocuSign, responsible for $2.9 million in annual revenue and customer retention.
In 2019, Darion joined WebPT as a Customer Success Manager, where they delivered quarterly executive business reviews, identified new opportunities with executive teams, and educated clients about new functionalities and industry developments. Currently, they are a Customer Success Manager at SMA Technologies starting from 2022.
Darion Powell obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana State University from 2005 to 2006. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, they attended Washington State University and earned a BA in Social Sciences. In addition, Darion has obtained certifications in CCS sales process, methodology, and tactics from CustomerCentric Selling in December 2014. Darion also has certifications in Challenger Sales from DocuSign and Inside R3 Sales from Acclivus Corporation, but the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
