Ignasi Ballarà Franco

Ignasi Ballarà Franco is an experienced software development professional with a strong background in leading teams and building robust systems. At Smadex since August 2018, Ignasi serves as Team Lead, overseeing a team of 9 software developers and focusing on the creation of REST APIs using Node. Previously, as a Software Engineer at Smadex, Ignasi maintained and enhanced the OpenRTB ecosystem. Prior experience includes a role at Vicens Vives Digital, contributing to the Edubook3D project with Java-based backend development, and a position at Opentrends, where Ignasi developed a Continuous Integration environment for a CaixaBank project. An internship at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya involved research and Android development aimed at supporting elderly health. Ignasi is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from UPC - ETSETB TelecomBCN and has completed an online course in Digital Signal Processing at EPFL.
