Vernita Whitaker Naylor

Vernita Whitaker Naylor has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2007, they founded and became the owner of Jabez Enterprise Group (JEGroup), an Integrated Business Resource Company that provides education, advocacy, and support services to individuals and business owners. In this role, they customized programs and services to help clients reach their personal or business needs. Vernita also served as a Training and Development Specialist at JEGroup since 2008, providing personal and business development and training services.

Vernita worked towards bringing revitalization and economic development to the Richmond, California area as part of the Adhoc Procurement Committee at the U.C. Berkeley Global Campus.

Furthermore, they served as a Park, Recreation and Historical Commissioner for Alameda County, ensuring the safety, funding, and maintenance of parks, recreation, and historical places within the county. And they worked as an Instructor at Scotts Valley Tribal TANF (SVTT), providing instruction in an unspecified subject.
