Tara Berger

Tara Berger has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles in finance and accounting. Tara most recently worked as the Director of Finance Shared Services at Smalls Sliders since April 2023. Prior to that, Tara held the position of Operations Manager at Bryce Ledet, CPA PC and Supporting Strategies | New Orleans from October 2021 to April 2023. Tara also served as the Director of Finance at Amelia Belle Casino from November 2015 to October 2021. Tara has held various other roles including Controller at Baywater Drilling for a short period in 2015, Assistant Controller at Allrig from January 2015 to August 2015, and Financial Projects Manager at Danos from May 2014 to January 2015. Tara has also worked at Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. as the Financial Reporting Controller from April 2013 to May 2014 and as the Accounting Manager from March 2012 to April 2013. Tara started their career as an Accountant at Lanaux & Felger CPAs APC from January 2008 to March 2012 and at Darnall, Sikes & Frederick CPAs from January 2005 to December 2007.

Tara Berger completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University in 2005. Tara then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management from the same university, which they obtained in 2011. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State Board of Certified Public Accountants of Louisiana, obtained in 2007.
