Cindy Gao

Cindy Gao is a seasoned professional in food safety and quality assurance with a diverse background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as the FSQA Manager at Smalls since October 2023, Cindy previously held significant roles at Open Farm Pet, including Quality and Regulatory Manager and Assistant Quality and Regulatory Manager, from September 2020 to October 2023. Earlier experience includes a position in Regulatory Affairs at Macgregors Meat & Seafood Ltd. and a QA Specialist/SQF Practitioner role at Targol Co. Ltd. Cindy began a career in quality assurance at TFI Foods Ltd. as a Quality Assurance Technician. Cindy holds a Master of Science in Food Safety and Toxicology from The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Alberta.
