Jibran Malek

Jibran Malek has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Jibran currently works at Smalls as the Director of Partnerships since February 2021. Prior to Smalls, Jibran held various roles at Grapevine, starting as a Front Desk Clerk at Hampton Village Resort in 2008 and then transitioning to a Legal Secretary/Intern at Law Offices of Carlos Estrada in 2010. In 2011, they worked as an Intern at The Alliance for Business Leadership, where they conducted research and contributed to blog posts on crowd-funding legislation. Jibran also served as the Convention Operations Division Head at Otakorp and as the Technical Operations Desk Staff Manager at Anime Boston during the same period. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as the Captain at Gen Con LLC, streamlining operations and increasing productivity. Jibran then joined MassChallenge as a Social Media Coordinator from 2012 to 2014, a Marketing Manager from 2014 to 2016, and finally as a Senior Marketing Manager from 2017 to 2017. At MassChallenge, they managed social media accounts, coordinated events, and contributed to the company's digital marketing efforts. Overall, Jibran has accumulated a wide range of skills and experiences in marketing, event management, and partnership development throughout their career.

Jibran Malek completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and American History from Suffolk University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Berwick Academy from 2006 to 2010, although the degree name and field of study are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Jibran has also obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in October 2020.
