Joseph Ward

Joseph Ward has a diverse work experience. From 2009 to 2018, they worked for the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Leading Cadet. In 2017, they worked at Sorrentos Cafe as a Front Of House Manager and Barista. In 2018, they worked for AAAS as a Press Release Writer and for Popular Astronomy Magazine as a Journalist and Content Coordinator. In 2021, they worked at Interplay as an Entrepreneur In Residence and in 2022, they began working at Southpoint as a Director. Most recently, they have been working at SmallSpark since 2018 as Chief Executive Officer & Director of Propulsion and Chief Executive Officer & Propulsion Engineer, reigniting UK Space.

Joseph Ward attended Wallington County Grammar School before enrolling at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2015. Joseph graduated in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Physics. Joseph then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Physics with Propulsion System Design at the same university.
