Charles Wastell

Charles Wastell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and security engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure & Security Engineering at Smarsh since March 2020, Wastell has previously held significant roles including Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering at Mitel and Manager of Infrastructure Engineering at ShoreTel. Additional management experience includes overseeing Enterprise Services at Corvisa and serving as Information Systems Supervisor at Esker Inc. Earlier in his career, Wastell worked as a Systems Administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Wastell holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 2002 and 2006.
