Gaurav Goenka

Gaurav Goenka has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Gaurav is currently employed at Smarsh as a Lead Engineer, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Smarsh as a Software Engineer IV from November 2019 to November 2021. Before joining Smarsh, Gaurav worked at Oracle, where they held various positions. Gaurav served as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2018 to November 2019, where they developed an application for generating data for search enhancements on docs.oracle.com. From March 2015 to September 2018, Gaurav worked as a Software Developer - 2, focusing on Java-based RESTful services development, microservices, UI on the AngularJS framework, and deployment using Docker and CI (Jenkins). Gaurav also contributed to the enhancement of key components in the Project Self-Publishing using Java8, Groovy, and Node technologies. Before that, Gaurav worked as an Associate Member Of Technical Publishing Staff from June 2013 to February 2015, where they worked on the migration of a system to a Java-powered UI system and created microservices for better load handling and faster processing of data. Gaurav was also involved in troubleshooting build issues during this time.

Gaurav Goenka completed a Bachelor of Computer Application degree in Computer Software Design and Development of Applications from Christ University, Bangalore between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Bishop Cotton Boys' School and completed their ISC degree between 2008 and 2010.
