Prior to that, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at Ripple, where they led the Core Engineering organization and played a key role in designing and building RippleNet, the company's global payment network. From 2017 to 2019, Sherif held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Zenefits, where they led the Payroll Engineering org and developed Zenefits' Payroll and Workforce Management offerings. Before that, Sherif co-founded Code Overflow LLC and served as the VP of Software Engineering. Sherif also held positions at ITWorx, PayPal, eBay, and Oracle, where they gained valuable experience in software solution architecture and engineering.
