Professor Majed Dweik, PhD has held various positions in the research and economic development field since 2007. Professor Majed began their career at Lincoln University of Missouri, where they served as the Director of Center of Nanotechnology and Associate Professor. In 2013, they became a Board Member at Nanotechnovate, LLC. In 2017, they moved to Smart Diagnostics Systems as the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder. In 2018, they returned to Lincoln University of Missouri as the Dean/1890 Director Coop Research and Extension and Interim Dean. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University as the Vice President of Research & Economic Development.
Professor Majed Dweik received their BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2007. Professor Majed then pursued a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Engineering.
