Bruno Marchevsky has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Theircareer began in 1995 as Director of Engineering at 3Com/USRobotics. In 1999, they were promoted to Director of Engineering at US Robotics, where they worked with management and investors to (re) define the company after mergers, acquisitions and spinoffs. Bruno also started and led the cable modem business, engaging with Asian OEM vendors and transitioning plans to in-house design. In 2001, Bruno became Lead Technologist and Co-Founder at Chrysalis Development. In 2004, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering at Ingenient Technologies, a software developer and licensor of video and audio codecs, algorithms and multimedia subsystems targeting DSPs and hardware accelerated media processors. In 2009, they became Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Z3 Technology, where they bootstrapped a self-funded operation from near zero to a multimillion dollar global operation. At Z3 Technology, Bruno defined requirements of every product sold and created the system architectures to meet the requirements. Bruno designed the hardware schematics and PCB layout, architected and coded FPGA using Verilog, developed application and driver software for embedded Linux on ARM and for low power microcontrollers. Bruno also contracted manufacturing in Asia, established relationships with suppliers, contractors and service providers, interacted with customers and partners to ensure optimal outcome at pre-sales, design and support phases, evaluated and deployed new technologies, tools and methods achieving ever faster development of better products, and ensured that products meet regulatory requirements and obtained approvals.
Bruno Marchevsky received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade Santa Ursula in 1985. Prior to that, they attended Escola Tecnica Federal Celso Suckow da Fonseca from 1977 to 1980.
