James D. Nyfeler Jr has extensive experience in sales and business development roles. James D. is currently serving as the Director of Sales and Business Development for the South Central US at Smart Energy Water. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Leader at Capgemini from 2021 to 2023.
From 2015 to 2021, Nyfeler held multiple positions at IBM, including Business Development Leader for Communications, CSI, and Utilities in IBM Services, Worldwide Global Systems Integrator Leader for IBM Cloud, and Cloud Sales Executive for Global SIs.
Before joining IBM, they worked at Iron Mountain as the Director of Global Systems Integrators and as a Global Account Executive. At Iron Mountain, they successfully drove national and global service agreements, negotiated multimillion-dollar annual agreements, and generated significant new annual recurring revenue.
Nyfeler began their career at Strategic Exchange Technology as an Account Executive before moving to Oracle, where they served as a Partner Manager and a Consulting Sales Manager. In these roles, they managed global business relationships, achieved revenue targets, and oversaw consulting services for major clients.
James D. Nyfeler Jr holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Virginia Tech. James D. has also completed the EDS Manufacturing Professional Development Program at Wayne State University and the EDS Systems Engineering Development Program. In 2015 to 2017, they attended the IBM Global Sales School. Additionally, they have obtained certifications including AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation, AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business), and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, all from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
