Rubens Approbato MacHado Junior

Rubens Approbato Machado Junior is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and startup mentorship. Currently serving as the Fiscal Council Member (President) at Smart Fit and holding roles as Co-Founder and CEO of Poli Angels, as well as Co-Founder and Business Mentor at PoliStart, Rubens is deeply involved in supporting early-stage Brazilian startups. Additionally, Rubens is an Advisory Board Member at Great People, CAS, and Great Place to Work® Brasil. Prior experience includes leading South American operations as President at Cabot Corporation and serving as CEO of Umoe BioEnergy. Rubens holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from Escola Politécnica da USP.
