Georgie Ward

Georgie Ward is a seasoned professional in event management and project direction, currently serving as Special Project Director at Smart Group Ltd since July 2023, and holding a role focused on Projects, Collaborations, and Communications at Huckle since July 2022. Previously, Georgie was the Festival Manager for the Black Deer Festival of Americana & Country Music from October 2017 to February 2023 and held director positions at entertee events and GOLBORNE EVENTS LIMITED. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at Smart Group Ltd - Event Services, where Georgie progressed from Senior Event Account Manager to Head of Account Management between February 2008 and July 2016. Georgie's event management journey began as Events Co-ordinator at The Hop Farm and included a role as Event Sales Manager at the Brewery by EC&O. Education includes Mental Health First Aid (England) certification obtained in April 2023, along with studies at Canterbury College and Sutton Valence School.
