Walid Ayoub

Walid Ayoub is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Executive Advisor for IT As A Service Expansion at Smart IMS Inc., where the focus is on providing tailored IT solutions for small to medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations. Previously, Walid held the position of Chief Information & Technology Officer at Human Rights Watch, leading a large IT division across more than 50 countries and driving initiatives like a hybrid cloud strategy and comprehensive data compliance. Additional roles include Director of IT, Systems Manager, and Systems Administrator at Human Rights Watch, as well as Network Engineer at ATC Environmental Inc. and Network Administrator at Global Trading Systems. Walid holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunication & Information Management from NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
