Björn Bender serves as the CEO and Executive Chairman of Rail Europe since November 2022, leading a global travel tech company recognized for its European train booking services. In addition to this role, Bender is a member of the Advisory Board at IMO-HSG and has been a guest lecturer on Smart Mobility at the University of St. Gallen since 2020. Bender co-founded the non-profit association Mobility Allstars, aimed at accelerating mobility transformation, and has held various leadership positions in innovation and mobility services at SBB CFF FFS and Deutsche Bahn. With extensive experience in sales, partner management, and strategic development, Bender has contributed to significant projects in the transport and tourism sectors, supported by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Worms.
