Foozieh Sohrabi

Foozieh Sohrabi currently serves as the Quality Project Leader at SMART Photonics, where responsibilities include leading the Wafer Breakage Reduction Program and managing the Customer Quality Interface. Previous roles include Process Quality Engineer at MediSens, Chief Executive Officer at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, and Sr. Optical Engineer focusing on imaging-spectroscopy setups and biomarker detection. Additional experience includes work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in hyperspectral imaging for Alzheimer's diagnosis and various research positions at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, Shahid Beheshti University, and EPFL. Foozieh holds a PhD in Biophotonics from EPFL and a PhD in Photonics from Shahid Beheshti University, along with a Master's degree in Photonics Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Tabriz.
