Bianca Cecato is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Smart Prosperity Institute, starting in July 2023. Previously, Bianca served as a PhD Student Researcher at The University of British Columbia from August 2017 to April 2023, and worked as a Sustainability Scholar for Metro Vancouver during the summer of 2019. Bianca's professional experience also includes a role as a Research Analyst at the World Bank Group from May 2015 to June 2017. Academically, Bianca holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from The University of British Columbia, a Master's degree in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
