Stephen Smith, REM has extensive experience in various roles related to safety management, environmental compliance, and project management. Stephen most recently served as a Senior Account Manager/Safety Director at SMART Safety Gulf Coast, where they ensured the efficient and profitable management of the company's safety program. Prior to that, Stephen worked at Total Safety US, Inc. in roles such as Regional HSEQ Director/VPP Director and Area HSE Manager, overseeing safety and environmental activities in the Eastern Region and Southeastern U.S. Operations. Stephen has also held positions at organizations such as Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury, Terracon, URS Corporation, East Baton Rouge City/Parish Government, Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc., and the United States Army Reserve. Stephen has demonstrated expertise in safety management, environmental compliance, remediation, and permitting.

Stephen Smith, REM, holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Environmental Management Systems from Louisiana State University. Stephen has also obtained the certification of a Registered Environmental Manager (REM 397290039) from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals in 2009.
