Frank Weilandt

Frank Weilandt is a Data Scientist and Mathematician with experience in developing data science and operations research pipelines for finding optimal schedules in steel production. Prior to Smart Steel Technologies, Frank worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at dida Datenschmiede GmbH, where Frank developed machine learning solutions for various industries, with expertise in Natural Language Processing, Remote Sensing, and Computer Vision. Frank has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Bremen, focusing on Topological Data Analysis and dynamical systems. Frank completed their Master's degree in Mathematics at The University of Bonn and obtained their PhD in Computational Mathematics from Jagiellonian University.
