Pratyush Seshadri

Pratyush Seshadri is currently a Research Assistant at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, focusing on the intersection of economics, health, and technology. In addition, Pratyush serves as Project Manager for the Smart Surfaces Coalition, where efforts are concentrated on modeling tourism demand influenced by climate-specific factors. Previous experience includes roles as a Summer Analyst at Blackstone, Vice President of the Board of Directors for The Daily Tar Heel, Strategy Associate at Lori, Research Fellow at Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, Investment Analyst at Nural Capital, and Legal Intern for The Decarceration Project. Pratyush co-founded Visibility Forward to promote Asian American history curricula and worked as a Policy Analyst for Innovate Memphis addressing food insecurity. Pratyush is pursuing a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has completed coursework at the University of Oxford.
