Manuel Ebner

Manuel Ebner is a Swiss entrepreneur and investor. Manuel is currently the advisor at SMART VALOR, and was formerly the Country Executive for Switzerland and CEO of MLCM at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Ebner has also served as CEO of BZ Bank, as well as a partner at McKinsey&Company. Manuel also has experience in the manufacturing industry, having served as a board member and investor at Perftech Inc. In 2009, they launched a market neutral hedge fund before becoming the CEO of Obtree Technologies Inc. in 1999.

Ebner has been involved in the tech industry since 1998 when they became the CEO of Artificial Life, Inc. in Switzerland. Manuel has since then continued to invest and advise startups in the space.

Manuel Ebner has an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business, with a focus in management and finance. Manuel also holds a BA and BS from Stanford University in engineering and economics. Prior to attending Stanford, they attended the Colegio Suizo de Mexico.
