Daniel Rips

Daniel Rips has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Daniel has held various roles in different companies in the fields of solar energy, construction, and tree services.

In their most recent role, Daniel worked as a Design and Sales professional at Smart Wave Solar since March 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Southards Solar and Construction as a Sales and Design Consultant from May 2016 to April 2022. Daniel performed residential and commercial sales in Boulder and Denver County and designed and sold solar electric systems along the Front Range of Colorado.

Before their tenure at Southards Solar and Construction, Daniel worked at Endurance Solar and Engineering as a Sales and Design Consultant from August 2013 to June 2016. Daniel also served as a Sales and Design Consultant at Independent Power Systems from January 2012 to August 2013.

Daniel's earlier work experience includes roles such as Fundraising & Marketing at Boulder Aquatic Masters from May 2011 to May 2013, Account Manager/Certified Arborist at The Green Plan/The Brickman Group from January 2009 to December 2011, and Account Representative at Davey Tree Experts from April 2007 to September 2008.

Daniel's extensive experience also includes their role as General Manager at Hayes Tree Service from October 1999 to April 2007. Daniel started their career as an Account Manager for Student Debt Management at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where they worked from January 1990 to April 1994.
