Satya Saibaba Vakkalanka has over 26 years of work experience in the IT industry. Satya Saibaba held various managerial positions in different companies, including Smartapp.com where they served as COO & CIO since April 2019. Prior to that, they were the Vice President IT & CIO at JMC Projects (India) Ltd. from October 2018 to April 2019. Satya Saibaba also worked at Turner Project Management India/Turner International as the Director-IS & Head of IT from June 2012 to October 2018. Before that, they held the position of AVP(IT)/Group CIO at SPML Infra Limited from December 2008 to September 2012. Satya Saibaba'sexperience also includes roles such as GM (IT) at Maytasinfra, Asst. General Manager IT at Lanco Infratech Limited, and IT head at Genting Lanco. Satya Saibaba started their career at Jasper Industries Limited as a Manager (EDP) in January 1993, handling various responsibilities including the development of IT systems, setting up local area networks, implementation of servers, and documentation.

Satya Saibaba Vakkalanka began their education in 1984 at Indian Jobs Fastest Updates, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry in 1987. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Methods and Programming at AP Productivity Counsil from 1990 to 1991. In 2001, Satya enrolled at Madurai Kamaraj University and obtained a Master of Computer Applications degree in Information Technology in 2004. Continuing their education, they attended the Indian School of Business in 2007, completing a Management Development Program in IT, focusing on aligning business and IT strategies. Finally, in 2011, Satya Saibaba Vakkalanka studied at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for their Executive General Management Program.
