Justin Sparks

Justin Sparks is a seasoned professional in the fields of data science and chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at SmartAsset since May 2022. Prior to this role, Justin held academic positions at Muhlenberg College, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor of Chemistry from August 2015 to January 2024. Earlier experience includes working as a Senior Chemist at Dow Chemical within Core R&D Analytical Sciences, and roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Penn State University in Physical Chemistry. Justin started the career as an Analytical Chemist at Puritan Products, Inc. after earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from DeSales University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Penn State University.
