Mike Honeycutt

Mike serves as Northeast Tennessee’s Regional President for SmartBank. With more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, he leads our relationship management teams in key growth areas such as loans, deposits and services. Additionally, Mike oversees community involvement throughout his market area. Mike is a 1996 graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance. Prior to joining SmartBank, he served as the Market President of BB&T where he oversaw banking in Blount, Sevier, Jefferson and Loudon counties. Mike is heavily involved with the United Way of Blount County where he has held various leadership roles; most recently, he served as Board Chair in 2019.
