Abhay Gupta

Abhay Gupta is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Sr. Director of Engineering at SmartBear since June 2022, Abhay previously held the position of Technology Leader for FedNow at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Abhay’s career includes significant contributions as a Senior Engineering Manager at Cvent, where management of multiple sprint teams occurred, and as a Manager of Software Development at CloudLock, focusing on Data Loss Prevention solutions. Abhay has also held various positions at Dell EMC, including Manager of Software Engineering and Principal Software Engineer, overseeing the development of the Unisphere for VMAX product suite. Earlier in the career, Abhay worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Centive & ITC, a Senior Software Engineer at Lightbridge, and a System Consultant at Ajax Software Ltd in India. Abhay's educational background includes an MBA in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, supplemented with professional certifications in Agile Project Management and Project Management Professional (PMP).
