Brian G. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Brian started their career as an intern at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., where they performed research and constructed stock reports. Brian later joined First Arbor Advisors as an Associate in Wealth Management, collaborating with the Senior Vice President on economic and market outlooks.

Brian then transitioned to Ann Arbor State Bank, where they held multiple roles. As a Financial Analyst, they calculated derivative positions and reported on banking products. Brian also worked as a Credit Analyst/Commercial Lending Associate, underwriting commercial loans and preparing loan performance reports. Additionally, Brian served as the Alternative Lending-Development Lead, exploring and developing partnerships with FinTech companies.

After leaving the bank, Brian joined Able Lending as an Underwriter, where they facilitated collaborative lending to small businesses. Brian then moved on to CAE, working as a Capital Asset Trader, sourcing and trading semiconductor manufacturing assets.

Most recently, Brian has been with SmartBiz, where they initially served as a Senior Manager of Partnerships before being promoted to Head of Partnerships. In their current role as Director and Head of Partnerships, Brian oversees the online platform for Small Business Administration loans, streamlining the lending process for banks and assisting over 230,000 businesses.

Brian G. pursued a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degree from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which they completed between 2020 and 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. Before attending the University of Michigan, Brian began pursuing a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a concentration in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. However, it is unclear whether they completed this degree. Brian's education journey started at Grosse Pointe South High School, where they completed their high school education.
