Neel Kamidi

Neel Kamidi is a staff software engineer at Smartcar. Prior to joining Smartcar, Neel worked as a senior frontend engineer at AppZen, where they were responsible for developing a dynamic web application to support customer onboarding. Neel also worked on developing client-facing dashboards and designing a micro-frontend architecture.

Before joining AppZen, Neel worked as a senior application developer at Thomson Reuters. At Thomson Reuters, Neel worked on automating the build and deploy process using Gradle, Groovy, and Python. Neel also developed UI components using AngularJS and Twitter Bootstrap. In addition, Neel worked on an indirect tax application prototype that won an innovation award.

Neel has also worked on refreshing the UI for the Thomson Reuters UTP application and enhancing the application’s performance. Neel has also designed a 2-way replication strategy using Oracle GoldenGate to utilize idle DR servers.

Neel Kamidi graduated from Andhra University with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
