Cara Kroenke has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Cara started their career as a Curatorial and Education Intern at the North Carolina Museum of Art in 1995. Cara then worked as a Development Intern at the Guggenheim Museum and a Development Associate at the Smithsonian Institution in 1997. From 2000 to 2004, Cara held various roles at Sacred Heart Parish, including President and Co-Director. Cara then shifted their focus to social work, working at Southwest Youth and Family Services from 2006 to 2011 in multiple roles, such as a Social Worker and Events Manager. In 2011, they joined Microsoft as a University and College Recruiter on a contract basis, responsible for evaluating candidate fit and conducting interviews. Following that, Cara worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation as a Recruiter from 2012 to 2014. Cara then served as a Recruiting Manager at Gene Juarez Salons & Spas from 2014 to 2017. In 2018, Cara worked as a University Recruiter and Reserve Recruiter at Starbucks before transitioning to their current role as a Recruiting Manager at Smart City Networks.
Cara Kroenke completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History from Meredith College, where they attended from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Seattle University from 1993 to 1995, studying Psychology, Philosophy, and Theology. Cara also attended Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart from 1986 to 1993, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In 2007, they obtained a Certificate in Undoing Institutional Racism from The People's Institute.
