Julia Slocombe has a long and varied work experience. Julia started their career in 1990 at Marriott International as a General Manager in San Jose, CA. Julia then joined Smart City Networks, where they held various positions, including General Manager of Technology Services in Santa Clara, CA, and San Diego. Julia then served as Director of Technology Services in San Diego before being promoted to Director of Regional Operations in California. Julia later became Vice President of Operations for the West Region and eventually Senior Vice President of Operations and Industry Relations. Julia is currently working as the Chief Member at Chief, starting in 2023.
Julia Slocombe obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and General Management from SUNY Oneonta, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. In addition, they obtained a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021.
