Sunny Dev has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Sunny is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at SmartCoin Financials since October 2021. Before that, they served as the Head of Engineering at K12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. from August 2020 to October 2021. From August 2019 to August 2020, Sunny was the CEO & Co-Founder of TripNxt. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer II at Rakuten from September 2017 to August 2019. Sunny also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Airnow Media from September 2016 to August 2017 and as a Software Engineer II at Walmart Global Tech India from January 2015 to September 2016.

Sunny Dev obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.
