McKenzie Mortensen Ross has a diverse and extensive work experience. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Marketing at SmartDV Technologies, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Strategic Programs Manager from 2021 to 2022. McKenzie also has experience at OneSpin: A Siemens Business, where they held the role of Director Corporate Marketing from 2019 to 2022, and as a Marketing Communications Manager from 2017 to 2019. Before joining OneSpin, they worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant from 2016 to 2017, and as the Director of Marketing at IPextreme from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they held the role of Constellations Program Director at IPextreme from 2012 to 2016 and worked as a Marketing Communications Manager from 2012 to 2014. Prior to their marketing career, McKenzie worked as a Teacher and Assessor at Challenger School from 2006 to 2009. McKenzie also gained experience as an Editorial Assistant at Kooler Design Studio, Inc. in 2005.
McKenzie Mortensen Ross attended the University of Puget Sound from 2002 to 2006, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Writing, Rhetoric, and Culture) with a minor in French. In 2004, they spent a semester abroad at Lancaster University. They then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Children's Literature at the University of Roehampton from 2009 to 2011. Prior to their university education, McKenzie Mortensen Ross completed their high school education and obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma from San Jose High Academy from 1998 to 2002.
