Savio Fernandes

Savio Fernandes has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Savio started their career as a Character Modeller at Digitales Studios in 2007 and later worked as a Modeling Supervisor at Graphiti Multimedia Pvt Ltd. During this time, they also served as a Freelance artist at Digitales Studios, specializing in modelling and texturing characters.

In 2010, Savio joined artbycrunk.com as a Wordpress Developer and Technical Consultant, where they provided guidance and support in creating Wordpress websites and blogs. Savio worked there until 2017.

From 2011 to 2017, Savio worked at Sparky Animation, first as a CG Artist responsible for modelling and texturing, and later as a Senior Technical Director. In the latter role, they developed and supported an efficient pipeline to maximize artists' productivity and troubleshoot production issues.

In 2012, Savio briefly worked as a UX Designer and Frontend Developer at Encube Technologies.

In 2017, Savio joined Lucasfilm as a Pipeline Engineer and later as a Core-Pipeline Engineer II. Savio contributed to the data engineering team, developing core pipelines for efficient data management.

Most recently, Savio has been working at Smarter Health Pte Ltd. Savio started as a DevSecOps Lead and later transitioned into the role of Engineering Manager. In their current position, they maintain and improves the core cloud infrastructure systems and templates, ensuring security, compliance, and cost efficiency.

Overall, Savio Fernandes has gained expertise in various areas, including modelling, texturing, pipeline development, Wordpress development, and cloud infrastructure management.

Savio Fernandes has an extensive education history in the field of technology. Savio obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Cyber Forensics, with a double major in Information Security and Management, from Murdoch University. This degree was completed from 2015 to 2017. Later, from 2021 to 2022, Savio pursued a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from the same university. Additionally, during the same period, they also obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

In terms of certifications, Savio has obtained several credentials to enhance their technological skills. Savio successfully completed the Google Cybersecurity Specialization offered by Google in June 2023. In August 2022, they received the Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services. In August 2021, Savio earned the Personal Data Protection Practitioner (Singapore) 2020 (PDPC) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Furthermore, they achieved the Professional certification from the Singapore Computer Society in November 2020.

Savio has also engaged in various certifications offered by Google, including Google IT Support Specialization, Operating Systems and You: Becoming a Power User, System Administration and IT Infrastructure Service, T Security: Defense against the digital dark arts, Technical Support Fundamentals, and The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking. All of these certifications were obtained in January 2020. Additionally, they completed Introduction to Game Development and HTML, CSS and JavaScript certifications from Coursera in June 2017 and May 2017, respectively. In August 2016, Savio attained the Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera Course Certificates. Furthermore, in October 2015, they earned the Introduction to Software Product Management certification from Coursera Verified Certificates. In June 2015, they completed the Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems: Part 1 certification. Additionally, Savio obtained certifications in Web Application Architectures and R Programming by Johns Hopkins University in April 2015 and February 2015, respectively. Lastly, in November 2017, they received the Unity Certified Developer certification from Unity Technologies.
