Mark Protas

Mark Protas has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 2001 as a Technical Support Engineer/Software Developer at WebXess. In 2004, they joined PostUp as a Software Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer in 2006. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Lead Developer/Applications Architect at Smiley Media. Mark then moved to Promo Labs as a Software Engineer in 2011. In the same year, they joined TrueCar, Inc. as a Director of Product Development and Software Architect. In 2016, they worked as a Software Craftsman at Pillar Technology. In 2019, they joined Accenture as a Digital Technology Development Manager, Industry X.0 and Autonomic as a Director of Product Management, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager. Currently, they are a Senior Director, Engineering and Principal Engineer at Smarter Sorting.

Mark Protas received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin between 1996 and 2001.
