Chris Miller

Chris Miller has worked in the software and technology industry since 2012. Chris began their career as a Technician/Installer at Rentex Computer & Audio Visual Rentals, where they were responsible for installing and testing monitors, copiers, computers, mixers, and other AV equipment. Chris was also the primary point of contact for clients in need of troubleshooting and training, and installed audio-visual equipment for clients at venues around the east coast of the U.S. In 2014, they moved to HomeAway.com as a Customer Support Representative. In 2015, they joined Backup Parachute Software as a Software Quality Assurance Tester. In 2016, they began working at Bypass POS as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. Here, they were responsible for creating and maintaining automated tests, and used Postman to create and run REST API tests. Chris also created asynchronous automated tests for a web application using Mocha with Node.js, Javascript, and Chai assertion library, and ran API load tests using Loader. In 2017, they moved to SmarterHQ, where they are currently employed as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Chris Miller completed a High School Diploma from Fort Zumwalt South High School in 2004, followed by an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Full Sail University in 2010, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University in 2010.
