Miguel Ribeiro

Miguel Ribeiro has a range of work experience in research and development, program management, and team leadership. Miguel is currently the Director of Research and Development at Smartex.ai since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Program Manager at Smartex.ai from February 2022 to December 2022. Before joining Smartex.ai, Miguel was the Director of Research and Development at NEUTROPLAST | PORTUGAL from October 2020 to February 2022. Miguel has a long history with CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials, where they held multiple roles including R&D Manager of Smart Materials, R&D Team Leader of Printed Electronics, and Researcher. During their time at CeNTI, Miguel was involved in managing research projects, writing proposals, and conducting research in the fields of printed and organic electronics, smart materials, and non-conventional fibers.

Miguel Ribeiro's education history begins with obtaining a Licentiate degree in Physics from the Universidade do Minho, with the specific years of study unknown. Following this, in 2006, they pursued additional studies in Nanotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Textile, and Composite Materials at Citeve.
