John T. McMullan

John T. McMullan is a seasoned banking executive with extensive experience in commercial lending and market leadership. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Huntsville Market Executive at SmartBank since April 2019, John has previously held key positions, including Vice President of Commercial Lending at Trustmark Bank and Executive Vice President at Southern States Bank. Their career also includes significant roles at BancorpSouth and Colonial Bank, where John managed large teams of lenders and diverse commercial lending portfolios. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, as well as advanced banking degrees from The BAI Graduate School of Banking and The Alabama School of Banking.
