Ric Nickelsen

Ric Nickelsen currently serves as the Vice President of Commercial Lending at SmartBank, a position held since February 2017. Prior to this role, Ric worked as a Commercial Lender at BBVA Compass from April 2013 to January 2017 and held a similar position at Whitney/Hancock Bank from May 2006 to April 2013. Ric earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Birmingham-Southern College, where studies took place from 1990 to 1994. Education also includes attendance at Pensacola Catholic High School.
