JooHee Kim is a dedicated art history professional with extensive experience in research, curation, and education. Currently, JooHee serves as a Research Fellow at AHL Foundation, Inc. and as a Registrar/Curatorial Assistant at The David C. Driskell Center, focusing on exhibitions of African American art. JooHee has also contributed to Smarthistory as a Content Refresh Editor, improving online resources related to art history. Previous positions include Assistant to the Chair of the Department of Art History and Archaeology at the University of Maryland, where JooHee also acted as a Teaching Assistant. With a solid academic background, including a PhD in Art History and Archaeology in progress at the University of Maryland and dual master's degrees from New York University and the University of Chicago, JooHee has a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of art curation and scholarship.
