Aliaksei Patapau

Aliaksei Patapau has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Aliaksei is currently working as the VP of Engineering at SmartHop since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Facebook from August 2019 to May 2021. Before their tenure at Facebook, Aliaksei held the position of VP of Engineering at DeckRobot from January 2019 to July 2019. Aliaksei also worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook from October 2017 to January 2019. Aliaksei's earlier roles include Solutions Architect at Circles.Life from June 2014 to September 2017 and Tech Lead at Viber from October 2011 to March 2014.

Aliaksei Patapau attended the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics from 2007 to 2012. Aliaksei earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer networks and systems. In addition, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in October 2018, and they became an Oracle Certified Professional in Java SE 6 Programming from Oracle in March 2011.
