Nobel Pillai

Nobel Pillai has extensive experience in the logistics industry. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Business and Operations Manager at UTi Worldwide (DSV A/S). In 1997, they joined Kuehne + Nagel as an Export Manager - Seafreight and went on to hold various positions including General Manager, Director of Business Development, and National Account Manager. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as the Manager of Sales and Customer Services at FMS - Fr. Meyer's Sohn. Nobel then served as the Director of Trade Lane Management at Toll Global Forwarding from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant and contractor for Export Logistics at Waste Management. From 2019 to 2020, they managed an ocean operations center for import and export operations at DB Schenker. Nobel then moved on to become the Head of US Logistics at Vipa Lausanne S.A. from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they work as the Senior Manager of Logistics Operations at SmartKargo, starting in 2022.

Nobel Pillai completed their high school education in the field of Physical Sciences at St. Columba's High School from 1974 to 1986. Following that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Stephen's College, Delhi between 1986 and 1989. In addition to their formal education, Nobel also earned several certifications in Dangerous Goods Transportation from IATA. Nobel obtained these certifications in September 2000, September 2002, and October 1993.
