Charles Gale

Strategic Business Analyst at SmartLam North America

Charles Gale has worked in the wood product industry since 2007. Charles began their career as a Forest Technician with the U.S. Forest Service and then became a Forestry Intern with the Missoula Area Economic Development Corp. in 2008. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Forest Research Associate with the Bureau of Business and Economic Research at the University of Montana. From 2013 to 2017, Charles held two positions at Stimson Lumber, first as a Sales and Operations Planner and then as a Manufacturing Business Analyst. In 2017, they became the Principal Owner of Doug Fir Consulting LLC, and in 2019 they began working as a Strategic Business Analyst for SmartLam North America.

Charles Gale received their degree in Resource Conservation from the University of Montana in 2011. Their field of study included Forestry, Climate Change Studies, and Economics. In addition, they have a certification in High Performance Leadership from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education.
