Dave Johnson

Dave Johnson has been in the building and construction industry for over 20 years. Dave began their career in 1998 as a Market Development Manager for Weyerhaeuser. In 2000, they moved to Datalink as an Account Associate. After two years, they shifted to Trus Joist Corp as a Technical Representative (residential products) and Technical Representative (commercial products). In 2006, they joined iLevel by Weyerhaeuser as a Structural Frame Specialist. After five years, they moved back to Weyerhaeuser as an Outside Sales Representative and an Inside Sales Representative. In 2016, they became an Outside Sales Representative for Structural Wood Corp. Two years later, they took on the role of Engineered Wood Sales Manager for BlueLinx Corporation. In 2019, they became Sales Manager for EdgeBuilder Wall Panels, Inc. and in 2021, they began working as a Technical Sales Representative for SmartLam North America. Additionally, they have provided Minnesota Continuing Education (CE) credits to licensed contractors since 2015 as an Instructor.

Dave Johnson attended Gustavus Adolphus College from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Marketing, and Political Science.
