Dave Novak

Dave Novak is an experienced professional in the fintech and business development sectors, currently serving as Head of Fintech & Business Development at Smartly Built since February 2023. Previously, Dave held the position of Regional Relationship Manager at Measured Risk Portfolios, Inc., where responsibilities included wholesaling a unique strategy designed to limit downside risk while preserving capital. Prior roles include Managing Director and Trader in a private fund, Senior Vice President at Buckman, Buckman, & Reid, Trader and Analyst for a private hedge fund, and Market Maker at Knight Capital Group, specializing in international trading. Dave holds a B.A. in Economics and Government & Politics from the University of Maryland, earned between 1986 and 1991.
