Julianna Alanne has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Julianna began their career at Freedom Fund Arena, a multi-purpose sports hall, where they worked as a Customer Service Agent while still in high school. Julianna then gained experience as a Project Assistant at Köln other communications. After that, they joined Pohjola Bank Plc as a Summer Trainee, where they were responsible for establishing investment and financing agreements, cash management, and customer service.
In 2014, Julianna worked as a Project Coordinator at Saariaho Järvenpää, a design agency. Julianna also had an opportunity to work at Audi as a Project Manager in a Product Development Project, leading a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
Julianna's career then took their to Google, where they participated in the Google Online Marketing Program within the Large Customer Sales division. Following this, they joined Smartly.io, an ad tech company, where they held various roles including Account Lead, Business Development and Partnerships Lead, and Head of Strategic Partnerships, EMEA. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Smartly.io, where they oversee the development and scaling of strategic API partnerships with ads platforms.

Julianna Alanne's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Aalto University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Julianna also attended the National University of Singapore for an exchange semester in Global Strategy and Management in 2014. Additionally, they completed a Master's of Science degree in Marketing from Aalto University from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, they pursued a CEMS Master's in International Management - Exchange at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Julianna also completed a CEMS Master's in International Management from CEMS - The Global Alliance in Management Education from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their university studies, they attended Etelä-Tapiolan lukio for their high school education from 2008 to 2011.
