Elina Kopate

Elina Kopate has extensive work experience in various roles within the airline industry. Elina started their career in 2011 at SmartLynx Airlines, where they held several positions including Crew Control Specialist, Senior Crew Dispatcher, Crew Planning Manager, Senior Crew Resource Analyst, Operations Development Manager, and currently serves as the Head of Crew Resources Administration. Prior to joining SmartLynx Airlines, Elina worked at Riga International Airport as a Business Lounge Executive from 2006 to 2009. Elina also gained experience at Radisson SAS Daugava hotel, where they served as a Food&Beverage, Sales&Marketing Secretary from 2004 to 2006, and as a Food&Beverage Management trainee from 2003 to 2003.

Elina Kopate's education history begins in 1989 when they attended Riga Municipal Gymnasium "Anninmuiza" and obtained a High School diploma in 2001. Following their high school education, Elina enrolled in the Swiss Hotel Management School, where they completed a Certificate in Food & Beverage Management from 2001 to 2002. Elina continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Diploma in Hotel Operational Management from 2002 to 2003. Elina further pursued their education at the Swiss Hotel Management School and received a Higher Diploma in Hotel Management with Events from 2003 to 2004, specializing in Hospitality Administration/Management and Events.

In addition to their formal education, Elina Kopate has obtained various certifications. In 2016, they completed a course on Project Management basics from Komercizglītības Centrs SIA. In 2019, Elina obtained a certification in Analyzing Data with Power BI (20778) from Baltijas Datoru Akadēmija (BDA). Furthermore, Elina has acquired multiple certifications through LinkedIn Learning, including Human Resources Foundations (2020), HR as a Business Partner (2020), Learning Design Thinking: Lead Change in Your Organization (2021), Learning Personal Branding (2020), Excel: Scenario Planning and Analysis (2020), and Six Sigma Foundations (2020). Additionally, Elina obtained an Agile Management of products, companies, and teams using digital tools certification from Biznesa augstskola Turība | Turiba University in 2021.
