Ruta Rimsane

Ruta Rimsane has extensive experience in human resources and people management. Ruta is currently the Crew People & Culture Director at SmartLynx Airlines Ltd since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Amber Beverage Group from March 2014 to January 2023. In their role as Group HR Director, they were responsible for shaping and promoting a global culture, developing strategic people plans, and implementing effective rewarding and motivation systems. Ruta also served as the Head of HR Services from September 2016 to March 2020. Before joining Amber Beverage Group, Ruta held various HR management positions at Maxima Latvija and KOMIN, MPS Latvia, where they focused on recruitment, development, and HR consulting services.

Ruta Rimsane's education history begins in 1997, when they enrolled at Vidzemes Augstskola/Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences. Ruta completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government in 2001. Following this, they attended the International Highschool of Practical Psychology from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Psychology. In 2010, Ruta Rimsane pursued further education at the Baltic Institute of Psycho-Organic Analysis, specializing in psychotherapy. Ruta became a member of the Psycho-Organic Analysis Association upon completing their degree in 2014. Ruta Rimsane's most recent educational endeavor took place in 2023 at Cambridge Judge Business School, where they studied People Analytics: Transforming HR Strategy with Data Science.
